Captain John Broadhurst, 1704 Rent Rolls for Accomack, Virginia

Scrolling through Arthur Broadhurst's broadhurst.us site I came across a reference to a Captain John Broadhurst on the 1704 Rent Rolls for Accomack County, owning 1100 acres. The link can be seen HERE.

If you've gone thru this site, you'll find reference to a Captain David John Broadhurst, born 1844, in Wayne County, NC, and his father Jack (John) Broadhurst, born in 1798.

I also found a reference to a will for a John Bradhurst for 1723 for Accomack County, but I don't have a copy as of yet.

A Walter Broadhurst is listed as a member of the House of Burgesses representing Northumberland, Virginia in 1653. Northumberland did not appear as a represented County until 1645.
