In consideration of the sum of £160 paid to (1) by (2) demise from (1) to (2) for 1,000 years of a messuage with a yard, garden, stable and outhouses belonging there, standing in both Mill Gate and Potter Dyke, Newark in the tenure of William Crampton; includes arrangements for the payment of interest; expected covenants apply.

Second Party: John Broadhurst, joiner of Newark upon Trent, Nottinghamshire.
In consideration of the further sum of £40 borrowed by (1) from (2) on the mortgage recited at (a) below, declaration by (1) that the premises mortgaged to (2) shall be security for the £40; notes that the mortgage now stands at £200 which (1) covenants to repay by 2 Dec. [1772] with interest.
Recitals: (a) mortgage and demise dated 11 Mar. 1769 [see Ne D 3638]; (b) fact that the principal sum of £160 has not been repaid; (c) fact that (1) has occasion to borrow a further sum of £40 and (2) has agreed to lend him the same.

Second Party: John Cobb, wheelwright of Newark upon Trent, Nottinghamshire.
Third Party: John Welby, gentleman of South Muskham, Nottinghamshire.
In consideration of the sum of £200 paid to (1) by (3) assignment from (1), at the request of (2), to (3) for the residue of a term of 1,000 years of a messuage with a yard, garden, stable and outhouses belonging there, standing in both Mill Gate and Potter Dyke, Newark; expected covenants apply.
Recitals: (a) mortgage by demise dated 11 Mar. 1769 [see Ne D 3638]; (b) further charge on the mortgage recited at (a) above [see Ne D 3639]; (c) fact that (1) is now owed only the sum of £200 as all interest has been paid.
Endorsement of memorandum stating that (1), before the property was assigned, did assign to (3) the policy of insurance granted to him for securing the mortgaged premises from fire and all benefit to be recovered.
